Living Situation

Yo,

So I HAD found an apartment that I was pretty excited about. Great price, less than 20 minutes from work, and within walking distance of not one but two parks (!!), but last week I found out that Barclays is paying for corporate housing until August. Real downer, I know.

Guess this means I have to physically go look at apartments instead of just rolling the dice and judging based upon pics on the web. Until then, I will be rooming with my buddy Pat with whom I interned last summer in the NY Barclays (formerly Lehman) offices. He's a cool dude, so I'm pretty happy with that. It'll help to be living with someone I know, and who is eager to explore a new city. Also, the corporate housing is very near where I work and the waterfront, which is convenient as I was planning on swimming in the Thames every morning anyways.

Mom, if you're reading, that was a joke.

Now I'm off to buy boxes from UPS and try to squeeze all my belongings into eight or fewer cubic feet. It's expensive to ship overseas!
